The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) is a shore command of the U.S. Navy, operating under Naval Sea Systems Command out of Washington, D.C.  The installation covers 110 square miles in southern Indiana and plays a central role in national defense research, development, testing, and engineering.

NSWC Crane's mission is to deliver solutions and ensure warfighter readiness through advanced technical capabilities.  The center focuses on all-domain systems across three core areas:
