Prometheus Energetics is a U.S.-based joint venture between Kratos Defense & Security Solutions and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. The company was formed to develop and manufacture next-generation solid rocket propulsion and energetics systems right here in Bloomfield. 

ACMI Properties is constructing for Prometheus a 650-acre, $300M+ solid rocket motor production facility that represents one of the most significant defense manufacturing investments in the Midwest.

Prometheus draws on Rafael's decades of experience in rocket motor technologies used in Iron Dome, David's Sling, and Spike missile systems. The operation will produce high-­performance, cost-effective solid rocket motors and deliver solutions from missile interceptors to tactical strike systems.
